Privacy policy
Effective September 23, 2026
S15 has no server of its own and collects nothing. Your settings stay in your browser. The text you choose to translate goes straight from your browser to Cloudflare Workers AI, under your own Cloudflare account, and nowhere else.
What the extension stores
These items are saved with chrome.storage.local, only on this computer and in this browser profile. They are not synced to your Google account and are never sent to the developer:
- your Cloudflare Account ID and API Token;
- the source and target languages, the chosen model and the interface language;
- your glossary;
- the outcome of the last translation (start and end time, success or the error message), so the popup can show it.
Uninstalling the extension deletes all of it.
What the extension reads from web pages
Only the text you have selected, and only when you ask for a translation with the keyboard shortcut or the "Translate with S15" menu item. Access is granted by that action alone (Chrome's activeTab permission) and ends when you leave the page. The extension does not run on pages by itself, does not read anything else on the page, and never changes the page.
What is sent, and to whom
When you ask for a translation, the extension sends one request to api.cloudflare.com containing:
- the selected text;
- the source and target languages and the model name;
- the glossary entries whose terms appear in that text (not the whole glossary);
- your API Token, to authenticate with your own Cloudflare account.
That request goes directly from your browser to Cloudflare. The developer never receives it and has no way to see it. Cloudflare processes it under its own terms and privacy policy. No other third party is contacted.
Clipboard
The translation is written to your clipboard. The extension only writes to it; it never reads what is already there.
What is not collected
No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no browsing history, no personal information. The developer does not sell, share or transfer any user data, does not use it for any purpose other than the translation you asked for, and does not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
Changes
If what the extension stores or sends changes, this page will be updated and the date above will change with it.
